How to compare two wedding vendor quotes
Updated Sample, Mangsir 2083
Sample content for design preview. Names, figures and stories are fictional test data.
Short answer
Compare quotes line by line, not by total. Check what is included, what costs extra and what the cancellation terms are. [Sample guide.]
Compare like with like
A cheaper total can leave out the album, the second shooter or travel. Put both quotes side by side and tick what each includes.
Check the terms
- Deposit and when the balance is due
- Cancellation and date-change rules
- Delivery times for photos, film or outfits
Questions
Can I ask a vendor to match a price?
You can ask. Most vendors will adjust inclusions rather than the price. [Sample answer.]
