Ambience is good, but food they serve is NOT healthy due to heavy use of MSG/ajinomoto and spices in all food items, very disappointed. I contacted the Manager and also Chef, requested to suggest NO-ajinomoto feed (I am allergic to it), but they did not care at all.

I recently attended an event at Kundalini Durbar Banquet. The venue was spacious and well-maintained. 😊 The staff were also quite attentive and helpful, making sure everything ran smoothly. The decor was pleasant, contributing to a nice atmosphere. ✨ Overall, it was a good experience for our gathering. 👍 I'd consider it for future events! 🥳

A nice banquet hall for middle class. Food is okay. Only problem is with not enough parking space but they manage it somehow on the back street with partial valet.

• 3/5Omi · Dec 2025From Google

Kundalini Durbar is definitely one of the most beautiful venues in Kathmandu. The "Durbar" theme gives it a very royal vibe, and the hall is huge with great air conditioning. It’s a perfect spot if you want your event photos to look premium. The reason for the 3.5 rating is that while the ambiance is 5-star, the service and food are around 3-star. The snacks were tasty, but the main course was a bit bland and ran out quickly. Also, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed by the crowd. It’s a solid choice for the location and looks, but management could be sharper.

We recently organized my sister’s wedding reception at Kundalini Durbar Banquet and were extremely satisfied with the overall service. The food was freshly prepared, of high quality, and included a great variety of snacks and dinner options. The hospitality was professional, and the staff was courteous and attentive throughout the program. We would confidently recommend Kundalini Durbar Banquet to others looking for a reliable and well-managed venue for important occasions.

• 4/5Amod Niroula · Dec 2025From Google

A decent place to host your social and special events. There is ample parking.. can be extended to street parking when needed. They have two halls and can host 2 receptions at a time as well. Food and service is okay.

  Good for 250 guest

• 5/5indra giri · Nov 2025From Google

Went there for a birthday party..really liked the ambience and location.. very close to ring road so location wise also very easy to find..the food was really good..service was also good..the only thing which they can would change is the location of restroom..its not very convenient for elderly and differently able people to use stairs to go to restroom as it is in the basement..apart from that other things are awesome

My experience was bad at Kundalini Cafe associated with Kundalini Durbar Banquet. I ordered a coffee and asked for a glass of water and they refused to give a single glass of water. Giving water to anyone who ask is Nepali culture, guys!
