  We had our wedding at Garden Hall and it was an absolute dream! From the first phone call, the staff was incredibly attentive, organized, and professional. The venue was perfectly neat and tidy, and the food was delicious- our guests are still talking about the mutton!Our coordinator, Nabin, worked like a member of our own family and took care of everything. He made sure every single guest was looked after and well-fed before they left. The staff also constantly checked on us (the bride and groom) for snacks, fruits, and drinks. 10/10 service from a friendly team. Highly recommend!"

  Every individual is given truly personalized attention. They cater to everyone on a personal level, offering exceptional service. Whether you visit after a year or even just after six months, they recognize you, and they greet you with such a warm smile and hospitality. They ask each person what they would like to eat, and they serve everything at the table during the party. They also personalize the menu, asking each person about their preferences and serving individual dishes. When I was there, I met a person named Mr. Navin Rayamajhi—I'm not sure if he’s the owner or a business partner—but his hospitality was outstanding. He really takes care of the guests; he is a gem of this place. His behavior is incredible. Keep up the good work! There is no other party palace like this in Kathmandu. Keep up the great spirit!

  2082/10/28 We had booked the venue for a rice feeding ceremony, and the overall experience was truly wonderful. The staff members were extremely helpful, attentive, and caring throughout the event. From the very beginning, the management was great and extremely reliable, which gave us so much peace of mind during the planning process, thanks to Mr. Nabin, our manager. The customer service was excellent—responsive, respectful, and genuinely helpful at every step. The staff were professional and well-coordinated on the big day, making everything run smoothly. The decoration and interior were absolutely beautiful and elegant, creating the perfect atmosphere for our special day. The location is ideal and very easy to access, and the ample parking right in front was a big plus for our guests. We truly appreciated the honesty and transparency—there were no hidden charges at all, which is rare and very reassuring. The food menu was also great, with good variety and quality, and we received many compliments from our guests. Most importantly, all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the party, and we were able to celebrate stress-free and happily. We are very grateful to the entire team and would highly recommend Smart Mahal to anyone planning a wedding or special event in Kathmandu. 💍✨

  We left Smart Mahal with the taste of Rabri and Gulab Jamun in our mouths. That was half of the dessert offering. What preceded before was a decadent dinner selection served to us right on our table (also perhaps the only time I've tasted pasta that fresh and delicious in a banquet dinner course). The entire evening (and next morning) guests/family continued to rave about the snacks and the excellent service. The staff were so attentive that every new guest was immediately asked if they wanted a selection of snacks on a plate that kept almost magically topped up with new dishes each time the staff noticed the plate getting sparse. The same applied to drinks--including Mojitos, Hot Lemons and Cocktails (the ever-attentive Nabin ji even went so far as to hand deliver them to one of the guests who was just about to leave and getting on the passenger seat of a bike on the parking lot. Said guest was rightfully surprised and impressed!). Besides the quality of food and the hospitality that were offered not just to the host family but everyone in attendance, what we really appreciated was the pride they take in their work which reflected in the way the whole event was handled. The decorations left nothing lacking, everything was communicated beforehand and with utmost professionalism. Despite an unexpected surplus of guests on top of the expected invitees, they handled everything with no hiccup in service. The only amenity I wish was available in addition was a lift/elevator service for more accessibility between floors for movement-impaired/seniors. All in all, full points to the staff and excellent managers on-floor and behind the scenes for what they've managed to set up here. Thank you again for taking care of us.

  I do not have enough words that would do justice to explain how exceptional service Smart Mahal gave during our Birthday event. Mr Nabin Raya and his team went above and beyond not only to make the event successful but met the needs of our each and every individual guest. The team paid attention to every single details and was absolutely stress free. All the staffs were kind , great communication, professional and were ready at all times for anything. All the food was extremely delicious and was liked by all of our guest. Great ambience of the resturant upstairs with indoor and outdoor seating.   One of the best banquet in town for 250 to 500 hundred guests. They have a roof top restaurant and fine dinning hall with family room also with ac facilities. Management was so professional and sensitive with helpful also.food was amazing with different varieties. If you are looking for best 5 star level banquet hall or best restaurant, you can't miss Smart mahal ,near chilimey tower .

  The ambience was excellent. It looked like it was made for hosting events but they had a good restaurant service for walk in as well. I loved the long uphill stair case & decorations which led me to the beautiful roof top sitting area where I enjoyed mutton khana set. Green bhatmas sadheko & daal was bit undercooked otherwise rest were delicious. Price looked reasonable, staff were attentive & location was good.

  02/01/2026 – Update I am writing to follow up, as I am unsure whether the lack of response so far is due to negligence or a joke. I have contacted both of the numbers listed below via WhatsApp, since I currently reside outside the country and have already provided the payment receipt. To date, I have received no response from either number. This is unacceptable. I strongly advise that you provide a response as soon as possible. For clarity, this booking was not made under my name but under my brother-in-law’s name, Manish Adhikari. Additionally, please do not attempt to mislead or gaslight me by suggesting that the NPR 50,000 deposit can be used for a future wedding within our family. The next family member who would be getting married is currently only five years old, making such a suggestion unreasonable and inappropriate. I expect a prompt and professional response regarding the return of the deposit. Thanks Namrata We booked this venue for a wedding reception and were verbally assured that the booking fee of NPR 50,000 would be refunded in case of cancellation. Unfortunately, we did not get this confirmation in writing, trusting their word. Due to the death of an immediate family member, we had to cancel the event and gave proper notice. Despite this, our deposit of NPR 50,000 was never returned. It is extremely disappointing and unethical to take advantage of customers during such a difficult time. This is not the standard one expects from a party palace. I would not recommend this place to anyone planning a special occasion. If you have any integrity, please contact me and return our money.
